Have you ever sent a mail and forgotten to attach the ‘all-important’ file. This scenario is all too familiar. In the stress of routine office work, you might forget to pin the attachment along the email. To save you from this embarrassment, Gmail has a built-in reminder which will prompt you to attach a file. For e.g. if you add a phrase in your email such as ‘The files are attached below’, and hit send without actually adding an attachment, Google will immediately ask you to do the same. So don’t worry about attachments when you send an email next time. Google will save you from the blushes.
Tired of replying to emails when you’re on vacation? Gmail has a solution for this too! The automatic reply is one of the latest Gmail features. Setting up this feature is extremely convenient. For instance, if you’re going on vacation and wish to send up a standard reply to every work email, go to setting on your Gmail mobile app, choose your account and go to Vacation Responder. You can set up the time of the month during which you’ll be away and set up a standard message.
